| BEWARE – SCAM ON TOP OF SCAM - On Monday March20, 2017 at 2:43pm I receive a call from (701) 484-0130 (North Dakota) to state that the company (Client Care Experts) I used to rid your computer of a virus is out of business and under investigation. They want to take over protecting my computer. I was unaware of this investigation. During the conversation, they had my name, phone and email address. When I asked them to send me information via email the rep (male) said "I ain't sending you shit". We got into a bit of an argument and I disconnected the call. A few minutes later, a supervisor (female) called back and stated she heard the commotion and wanted to know what happened. I explained the situation and asked her to email the information I requested. To date I have received nothing. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY FORM OF PAYMENT. Since this conversation, I blocked their number and received 8 blocked calls. My next step is to file a complaint with the AG of North Dakota and maybe the FTC to register a complaint against them. | 03/24/2017 12:30 pm | ||
